Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP license in New York
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Experience in schools or with school-aged children preferred
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver direct therapy services to students in group and one-on-one settings
- Monitor student progress, maintain timely records, and adjust goals as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations based on evaluation findings
- Educate and consult with faculty and parents on communication strategies and student needs
