Key Qualifications:

Active SLPA certification or license as required by the state
Previous experience working with children or adolescents preferred
Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate approach
Ability to follow treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

Assist the Speech-Language Pathologist in delivering individual and group therapy sessions
Implement instructional and therapeutic activities aligned with student goals
Document student progress and maintain accurate records
Prepare therapy materials and set up learning environments
Support students in generalization of communication strategies within the classroom and school setting
Participate in team meetings, IEP discussions, and collaborate with teachers and families as needed
