A contract opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) who holds both an active GA SLP license and GaPSC certification. The assignment is set to begin in August and continues through mid-December, with the potential to extend through the end of the school year. While onsite services are preferred, remote (VOCO) candidates will also be considered.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Valid GA SLP license
- GaPSC certification required
- Experience working with school-aged populations, grades K-12
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Prior school-based experience highly valued
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders for a diverse K-12 student caseload
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Deliver both individual and small group therapy sessions
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and progress reports
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to maximize student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
- Adapt services as needed for onsite or remote (VOCO) modalities
