This is an outpatient Physical Therapy Assistant opportunity in Macon, Georgia, offering a 13-week temp-direct assignment in a supportive and professional clinical environment. You will primarily work with general orthopedic patients, including individuals recovering from injuries, surgeries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. A typical day involves assisting with evaluations and re-assessments, implementing established treatment plans, guiding therapeutic exercise programs, performing appropriate modalities as delegated, and educating patients on home exercise programs and strategies to improve function and prevent re-injury.You can expect a consistent outpatient caseload and a schedule built around 8-hour day shifts, with an anticipated 20 hours per week, supporting a healthy work-life balance.
