Job Summary and Qualifications
The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures ordered by a physician. MRI Technologists are responsible for day-to-day activities to ensure the delivery of quality patient care in a diagnostic/therapeutic environment.
What you will do in this role:
Facilitate the operations of the MRI department.
Assist the MRI Supervisor with the day-to-day operation of the department, balancing budgetary constraints, equipment and personnel needs, quality improvement, and exceptional care for adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.
Demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the lifespan and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patients requirements relative to their age-specific needs.
Deliver compassionate, holistic care while supporting the rights and dignity of all patients.
What qualifications you will need:
- BLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist program
- (ARRT-RT(R) Radiography
- (ARRT-MR) Magnetic Resonance Imaging, or (MRT) Magnetic Resonance Technologist, or (ARMRIT) American Registry of MRI Technologists
- Two years of experience preferred
