Speech Language Pathologist in Lake Elsinore, CA

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students in a dynamic elementary school setting, beginning August 10, 2026, and running through December, with the possibility of extending for the full academic year. This position focuses on providing speech-language services across three medically fragile classrooms, working collaboratively with another SLP and an SLPA already assigned to the caseload. The environment fosters both teamwork and individualized care, ensuring each child receives the specialized support they need.

Ideal candidates bring strong experience in schools, holding a CCC in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent, and are comfortable with both direct therapy and collaborative consultation. Candidates with prior exposure to Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices will find this setting a great match for their expertise. SLPAs with relevant backgrounds are welcome to apply, making this an inclusive opportunity for a range of skilled professionals.

Key Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent (SLPA applicants considered)
Current CCC-SLP certification, or state license/credential if applying as SLPA
Proven school-based experience required
Hands-on proficiency with AAC devices and intervention strategies
Experience supporting medically fragile students preferred
Collaborative, flexible, and compassionate approach to multidisciplinary care

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver speech and language therapy services for medically fragile students
Implement and monitor AAC-driven communication systems
Develop individualized therapy plans and document student progress
Consult and collaborate with SLP, SLPA, teachers, and support staff as part of a holistic care team
Participate in IEP meetings and ongoing caseload planning
