CNA - Transitional Care Center at Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center in Torrance, CA. This position is Part -Time and will work 8 -hour Evening shifts.

The Certified Nursing Assistant (Sub-Acute/Transitional) role is a non-licensed health care employee who performs delegated routine and predictable patient care tasks/duties and works under the direct supervision of a Charge Nurse. These duties may include, but are not limited to phlebotomy, EKG's, vital signs, monitoring, basic patient care and transportation. Responds appropriately to patients and families with knowledge of age specific needs based on scope of service of unit/department where assigned (Young Adult through Geriatric).

Required qualifications:
* Coursework/Training and Satisfactory completion of basic CPR course (level C).
* Upon hire: California Nursing Assistant Certification License
* Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
* 6 months of experience in a skilled nursing facility, medical/surgical and/or working with chronically ill patients.
Preferred qualifications:
* 6 months of recent experience in an acute, sub-acute or transitional care setting.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
