Job Summary and Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will be a pivotal healthcare professional, delivering compassionate, high-quality care that truly impacts our patients' well-being and recovery.

Every day, you will leverage your expertise to provide individualized, comprehensive care, making critical assessments, performing skilled procedures, and meticulously implementing patient care plans. You'll collaborate seamlessly within an interdisciplinary team, contributing to a dynamic environment focused on optimal patient outcomes.

Applies nursing process to direct patient care through assessment, analysis of collected data, development of a plan of care, and implementation and evaluation of effectiveness of nursing interventions/actions in relation to intended goal.
Provides adequate information and instruction to the patient, family and significant other.
Observes, collects, and records patient biophysical, psychosocial, and self-care data, identifying educational needs.
Analyzes assessment data to formulate nursing diagnoses and implement age-appropriate care plans with the team.
Administers medication.
Ensures patient and staff safety.

Shift: 6:45pm - 7:15am

Core Schedule: Week 1 Tue, Wed, Thu; Week 2 Thu, Fri, Sat; Week 3 Sun, Wed, Thu; Week 4 Thu, Fri, Sat

Job Requirements

Required:

Oregon RN License
AHA BLS within 30 days
NRP within 6 months
ACLS within 6 months
Associate's Degree in Nursing
One (1) year of RN experience or Current RN with CHI Mercy Health

Preferred

Family Birth Place experience
