Step into a role where you’ll work closely with children between ages 2 and 18, primarily presenting with mild to moderate needs. Most clients are high-functioning on the autism spectrum. Therapy focuses on areas such as pragmatics, receptive and expressive language, reading, writing, and developmental delays. Work with kids one-on-one to deliver meaningful, individualized interventions that unlock potential and foster confidence.
Key Qualifications:
- Current Florida OT license and Medicaid provider number required
- Previous pediatric experience, preferably in a school or outpatient clinic
- Strong foundation in addressing pragmatics, language, motor skills, and sensory needs
- Comfortable working with mild to moderate needs including autism spectrum disorder
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration and family support
- Ability to conduct assessments, write evaluations, direct therapy, and participate in IEP processes
Your Responsibilities:
